We are still enjoying our many fabulous May events, but June is just around the corner! The Virtual Pioneers have some great summer tours planned. We hope that you will take a break from the heat (in the Northern Hemisphere) or the cold (in the Southern Hemisphere) and join us for these virtual vacations:

+   June 3rd, 12 Noon SLT  -   Welcome to Greece!  

Join us as Mariposa Melodie, who lives in Greece in both RL and SL, shares a bit of her country's history, culture, and beauty. We will start our visit at the Acropolis, travel to Plaka, and then to Athens, where we will visit the Presidential House, Monument of Unknown Soldier, Odeon of Herodes, Atticus, and a Greek Orthodox Church. Time permitting we will end at the beautiuful Aegean Sea. Please wear low lag clothes (historical or modern) and comfortable walking shoes.

+   June 17th, 5pm SLT  -  Buona Pesca Archipelago   

Come join sim owner, Cesta Franizzi for a tour of Buona Pesca Archipelago. These  beautiful Medieval Realms and Roleplays are surrounded by open sailable waters covering twenty-seven adjoining regions. Come walk, boat or ride through the Archipelago and experience Medieval and Medi-Fantasy at its best.  Medieval dress is welcome or come as you are. Our tour will start at the ruins of the first humans to explore these shores.

We are celebrating in the Month of Maying with some amazing tours and conferences. This month will be highly interactive and educational, so please join us as we visit these unique locations and events! 

+   May 6th, 5pm SLT   -   Italian History

Join Lady Sere Timeless at the 18th century Principato di Melioria, Villa Vesuviana. This is an interpretation of Palladio’s "Villa Rotonda" which has inspired more architecture than any other single building in history. We will visit this role play of a fictional Italian Court in 1780 south of Napoli. Period clothing (18th century, early Victorian or late Renaissance) are encouraged but not  required.

Welcome to the Virtual WW2 Conference!
The Virtual WW2 Conference aims to educate persons about various topics related to WW2. The Flying Tigers' Group and Sims will allow you to participate in the conference as an attendee or a presenter from your home, school, work-without unnecessary travel or expenses. Conference presenters will be able to present virtually using a 3D avatar. Presentations will be in Second Life, but topics can be on any WW2 specific themes. Presentations can be from individuals, businesses, non profits, education institutions, or educational support business.

This museum provides a fully interactive and immersive experience to learn more about the history, culture, art and people of Afghanistan. This museum is rich in information, images, and more.
